Do you offer same-day appointments?
Most departments can see walk-in OPD patients the same day. Emergency patients are seen immediately without an appointment.
How do I know which doctor to see?
Tell our front desk your symptoms and they will book you with the right consultant. You can also browse our doctors by speciality.
What should I bring to my appointment?
A photo ID (Aadhaar is ideal), your Ayushman card or insurance details if you have them, previous prescriptions, discharge summaries, scan reports, and a list of the medicines you take.
How do I reschedule or cancel?

Ayushman & Insurance

Do you accept Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY)?
Yes. Narayan Hospital is empanelled under Ayushman Bharat, so eligible families receive treatment free of cost. How Ayushman Bharat works.
Is cashless insurance available?
Yes, through insurance TPAs for many insurers including Star Health, Care Health, HDFC ERGO, ICICI Lombard and Niva Bupa. See the full list.
What do I need for cashless admission?
Your insurance card or policy number and a photo ID. For planned admissions, contact the front desk in advance so pre-authorisation can be arranged.
What if I come in an emergency without my card?
Treatment starts first. The Ayushman or insurance paperwork can be completed once the patient is stable.
How can I pay?
UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and cash are all accepted.

Admission & Stay

Can a family member stay with the patient?
Yes, one attendant can usually stay with a patient on the ward; private rooms are available. ICU visiting is limited to protect patients.
Is there food available for families?
Yes, there is a cafeteria on site and a waiting lounge for families.
Will I be told the cost before treatment?
Yes. Families are told the treatment plan and the likely cost up front, and Ayushman or insurance cover is checked at admission.
What happens at discharge?
You receive a discharge summary, prescriptions and a follow-up date with your consultant.
Are test reports available quickly?

No. Emergency and trauma patients are seen immediately, day or night.
What first aid should I give after an accident?
