Common questions

Should a suspected fracture be seen the same day?
Yes. Keep the limb still, apply a cold pack and come to the emergency room — early treatment gives the best result.
Is knee pain always arthritis?
No. It can also be a ligament or cartilage injury. An examination and X-ray help find the cause.
When is joint replacement considered?
When arthritis pain limits daily life despite medicines, physiotherapy and weight management.
