Common questions
What are the warning signs of a kidney stone?
Sudden severe pain in the side or back that may spread to the groin, blood in the urine, burning, or pain with fever. Pain with fever or vomiting needs urgent care.
Do all kidney stones need surgery?
No. Small stones often pass with fluids and medicines. Larger or blocking stones may need a procedure.
Is prostate enlargement serious?
It is common in older men and usually treatable with medicines. See a urologist if you have poor flow, frequent night urination or cannot pass urine.
