Common questions
Why is a check-up needed before anaesthesia?
It lets the anaesthesiologist plan safe anaesthesia around your health, allergies and medicines.
Should I stop eating before surgery?
Yes. You will be told exactly when to stop eating and drinking — usually several hours before surgery.
Can family visit patients in the ICU?
Visiting is limited to protect patients; ICU staff will explain times and keep families updated.
